Polo For A Purpose Event
Thank you for your interest in our Polo For A Purpose charity event benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). The event, now in its’ 5th year, will be chaired by PJ Rizvi, Visse Wedell and Penny Bradley. Last year’s luncheon was a sell out and raised over $500,000 to aid LLS in its mission to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, as well as improving the quality of life of their patients and their families.
It’ll be an action packed day held at the prestigious International Polo Club in Wellington, Florida on Monday, January 15th 2018. The day begins at noon, with a cocktail reception in the pool area of the Club. After cocktails, our guests will be treated to a gourmet luncheon and a silent auction as well as an exciting live auction. Following lunch, the day continues with a professional four on four high goal polo match featuring some of Polo’s top players led by our Honorary Chairman and Lymphoma survivor, Brandon Phillips. For this part of the event the general public will participate in the fundraiser through the purchase of stadium tickets, tailgate tents and catered tents whilst enjoying the match.
We sincerely hope that you’ll be able to join us for this very special charity event. Last year, over 600 people attended this spectacular event and we anticipate double the attendance this year so be sure to book early! Interested in becoming a sponsor?
